Adecco Research Fellowship
The Adecco Research Fellowship at the University of Warwick, founded in 2004, provides funding for academic researchers from China to work in the Employment Law Research Unit of the University of Warwick, carrying out extensive research into the Chinese labour market, the largest potential employment market in the world. A particular focus is on the establishment of a nationwide pilot scheme for a labour disputes arbitration court to handle the increasing volume of labour disputes arising in the context of the rapidly developing Chinese labour market.
In 2006, Adecco, the University of Warwick and the London Business School brought together the architects of China’s new labour laws for the first-ever public discussion of the proposed new laws and their implications.
