The Adecco Institute, think tank on the future of work, today announced the appointment of Donna M. Murphy to the role of Managing Director.
Donna joins the Adecco Institute from the Commonwealth of assachusetts, USA, where she held various positions in the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development and the Department of Workforce Development. Previously, Donna had run an entrepreneurial start-up, and held various senior management and technical positions with 3Com and ITT Corporations. She has worked in the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Japan, Singapore and the US.
Donna replaces Peter Siderman, who left the Institute to pursue a career outside the industry. Wolfgang Clement, Chairman of the Adecco Institute, commented: “Donna brings a unique blend of international, technical and management experience in both the public and private sectors to the Adecco Institute, which will be instrumental in developing the Institute into a
truly global think tank. I welcome Donna to the Institute as we extend our research network into Asia and North America. I would also like to thank Peter Siderman for his extraordinary commitment and enthusiasm in building the Institute during its crucial start-up period.”
Donna holds a degree in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University and an MBA in International Strategic Management from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.
